Our Teachers
Kara Williams, Co-owner & Teacher
My name is Kara Williams and I have lived in Gorham for 12 years. I have two beautiful children. My son, Jack, is seven years old and in second grade. My daughter, Lucy is five years old and in my Three-Day Class. I’m a 2000 graduate of Saint Joseph’s College with a BS in Elementary Education. I have 15 years of experience teaching kindergarten and both mainstreamed and special education preschool. Summer and fall are my two favorite seasons. In the summer, I love to play outside with Jack and Lucy–sidewalk chalk, riding bikes, water balloon fights and beach days are among our favorites. I also enjoy camping and kayaking. I love the fall because I’m excited for a new school year to begin, the air is crisp and perfect for baking! I love taking my kids apple picking and to the Fryeburg Fair. I love chocolate… a little too much! And I am a HUGE Patriots fan! Go Pats! |
Julie Lessard, Co-owner & Teacher
I have been married to my best friend and husband, Jerry for 37 happy years. We have been blessed to have raised four wonderful children. We have two grandsons, Sylvan, Jasper and little girl on the way. We have had many fun times camping, traveling, and spending many wonderful times with the company of our children, family, and friends. I have had the amazing opportunity to have taught preschool for the past 22 years along with teaching Sunday school for 17 years. I have also enjoyed having a daycare in our home for seven years prior to teaching at my previous job. It has been a dream come true to own and work with an amazing partner, Kara. I enjoy being with children of this age group, they are so fun and dear. Their eagerness to learn, the things they say, and the joy they give me is such a blessing each and every day. |
